Document Description
The Digital 299 Broadband Project is a proposal to install approximately 300 miles of new conduit and fiber optic cable within existing road rights-of-way and easements, along with up to five in-line amplifier buildings, to provide internet to underserved communities in northern California. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25- year General Lease – Right-of-Way Use through April 1, 2050, for the installation and use of a 4-inch-diameter fiber optic steel conduit with fiber optic lines.
