Document Description
This project consists of invasive plant control and removal of nonnative plant thatch that has built up on approximately 7 acres of the north-facing slope of the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. The scope of work for this project consists of the following: cut and bag the seed heads/flowers of select invasive plant, then dig out root structures to at least 6 inches below the soil surface and dispose of any seed-bearing material properly off-site; cut existing weed thatch to soil surface with hand and mechanical equipment; collect cut material and remove off-site. A Right of Entry permit will be issued to the Los Angeles Conservation Corps for access to conduct this work.
