Document Description
The California Department of Transportation, using State funding only, is proposing to replace seven culverts on State Route 44 in Shasta County at the following locations: post mile (PM) R12.03, R12.66, R15.35, R19.64, R19.65, R22.13, and R22.69. The purpose of the project is to maintain conveyance of drainage, prevent roadway damage, and provide an operational highway. The project is needed because the culverts exhibit corroded inverts and piping is starting to occur.

The project would have no significant impact on the environment.
