The proposed project is a request for modifications to Use Permit UP97-0032 to allow changes to event hours and music restrictions. The current event hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The modification would allow event hours form 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The request also includes modification to allow a mix of indoor and outdoor amplified and non-amplified music. Music and events will terminate no later than 10:00 PM. No change to number of events allowed, no change to number of people allowed at events, no change to tasting room hours, no change to winery production capacity and no change to the number of employees.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the CEQA Guidelines pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15301 Existing facilities because the requested modification involves a negligible operation change that does not expand the existing facility or result in adverse environmental impacts. The project will not result in new development, modify the number of events per year, or increase the capacity allowed per event. The project is also exempt per the common sense exemption, Section 15601 (b)(3), because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question could have a significant impact on the environment. No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
