Document Description
The City of Redding will install a standby generator at Pump House No. 1. The Pump House is a critical facility and continuous power is needed to supply safe drinking water, meet fire suppression demands, and supply water to the Foothill Water Treatment Plant. Work will include the installation of a new structurally reinforced concrete generator pad, generator, fuel tank, sound and weather enclosure, electrical conduit, transformer, transfer switch, switchboard, electrical improvements, miscellaneous surface repair, and fencing. Work will involve trenching and minor excavation. All work will occur within the public facility property.
