Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes the "Manzanar Pavement Project" to rehabilitate pavement on US 395 between 0.6 mile south of LA Aqueduct Bridge 48-0014 and 0.3 mile north of Fish Hatchery Road, in and near the community of Independence, CA. Some guardrail, asphalt dikes, and signs will be replaced. The project will also bring all curb ramps into compliance with current standards, will enhance pedestrian crossings in the community of Independence, and may include traffic calming features.
