Document Description
Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) is proposing to conduct tree removal/pruning activities within the State right-of-way (ROW) along the north bound lane of state route as part of the company’s Wildfire and Safety Plan and Community Wildfire Safety Program. Nine (9) trees would be removed within Caltrans’ right-of-way, and PG&E would utilize Caltrans’ right-of-way as access to complete one (1) tree removal occurring outside Caltrans’ right-of-way. Work-generated debris smaller than approximately four inches in diameter would be chipped in areas with chipper accessibility. Cleared vegetation and woody debris (including chips) would be disposed of in a manner to ensure it does not enter surface water or a watercourse. The project would result in no ground disturbance. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit for work within the State ROW.
