Document Description
The City provides solid waste disposal services in accordance with Chapter 4 of Article V of the Grover Beach Municipal Code (GBMC) and South County Sanitary is the City’s franchisee that provides solid waste collection services to the community. The proposed project includes an Ordinance adding Chapter 4.1 of Article V, Mandatory Organic Waste Disposal Reduction, to the Grover Beach Municipal Code in order to comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) similar to other local governments in the state.
