Document Description
There are two existing structures to be repaired and extended; a concrete boat ramp and an existing pier. The project proposes to remove existing pier and construct a new 4x92 ft. pier and 12x20 ft. deck. Project includes removing 20 wooden pilings and driving 7 metal pilings.
No littoral vegetation will be removed. Tules are present in the vicinity of the project area but will not be impacted by project activities. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
