Document Description
The project proposes to remove existing pier, gangway and swim platform. Construct a new 5’x 87’ (435 sq. ft.) pier, 3’ x 30’ (90 sq. ft.) gangway and 35’ x 28’ (980 sq. ft.) double boatlift. Project includes removing 12 wooden pilings and 2 metal pilings; and driving 17 new metal pilings. No littoral vegetation will be removed. Tules are present in the project area but will be avoided and therefore there will be no impacts to tules. The proposed structure will be moved north of the existing structure to avoid any impacts to the tules. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
