The project is for the renewal of an existing, previously approved school site which has previously under gone CEQA review in the form of an EIR. No construction will occur nor is anticipated to occur in the immediate future and the activity is only for the renewal of the site as a future school site per the California Department of Education requirements. The project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), known as the common sense exemption, as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment.
