The Department of Water Resources’ Division of Safety of Dams has published a Notice of Determination for the the Rodent Burrow Remediation Project at Patterson Dam, State Dam, No. 1-62. The proposed work consists of repairing rodent burrows on the downstream face of the dam, armoring the downstream face of the dam with rodent burrowing prevention materials, installing a controlled low-strength material (CLSM) filled trench at/near the dam toe, restoring the low flow channel, and repairing the energy dissipator.
