Document Description
The Applicant owns and operates the Clifton Court Forebay facility for the State Water Project. The Clifton Court Forebay is subject to rodent burrowing that can cause internal erosion which could lead to dam failure. To prevent dam failure, the Applicant proposes to remediate burrows by using a combination of the following methods
collapsing and backfilling rodent burrows, filling rodent burrows with a cementitious-soil slurry, installation of PVC coated steel wire mesh and rock armoring to prevent rodents from burrowing into the downstream slope of the dam in the future.
