Document Description
Caltrans proposes to reconstruct non-compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) elements to current standards. Construct new curb ramps; sidewalks; driveways, where needed; and provide improvements to pedestrian mobility. With additional funding from the Complete Streets Reservation, the project also will also
add additional features such as a Class 2 bike lane and on-street parking. The purpose of the project is to upgrade pedestrian facilities to current ADA standards and improve pedestrian mobility. The need is to fix the non-ADA compliant curb ramps, sidewalks, driveways, and pedestrian within the project area.
