Document Description
The project consists of the installation of a small treatment plant within the existing Yorba Linda Water District headquarters facility for the treatment of PFAS contaminants. The treatment plant would use an ion exchange (IX) treatment protocol using IX vessels and pre-treatment bag filters. A new be installed to accommodate the changed hydrologics introduced by the treatment facility. New pipelines would be installed within the property convey extracted groundwater to the treatment plant and to convey treated water to the existing potable water distribution system. The entire site has been previously distributed by the development of the existing headquarters facilities that includes and adminstration building, parking lot, ornamental landscaping and groundwater production well facilities, the Project would not require any new ground disturbances. The facilities would treat water pumped from the existing production wells and would convey it to exiting water distribution pipelines for potable water consumption. The Project would not require any native vegetation removal.
