The project consists of landing the Boeing Starliner spacecraft on Rogers Dry Lake Bed at Edwards AFB to prevent the necessity of landing in the ocean for certain failure conditions that require an emergency landing, followed by recovery of the astronaut crew, and moving of the spacecraft to a hangar for post landing processing before shipment to Florida.
