Document Description
The project proposes to extend the existing boat ramp 8 ft. and widen the ramp from 6 in. at seawall to 14 ft. at the lakeward extent.
Tules are NOT present in the project area and will not be impacted by the proposed project. Work in the lake will likely occur between October 15 and December 31, but may occur outside of the work window. The project will further require a lakebed encroachment permit from Lake County Water Resources Department and a building permit from the Building Department. A vicinity map is attached.

Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 – New Construction. The project proposes to extend the existing boat ramp 8 ft. and widen the ramp from 6 in. at seawall to 14 ft. at the lakeward extent. The lakebed is currently dry due to drought conditions and the work will not impact water quality.
No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
