Document Description
The project proposes to relocate a portion of an existing 8-inch refined petroleum products pipeline from its current temporary location beneath the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) bridge spans to a new permanent location on the northern side of the UPRR bridge spans. Construction of the project will entail: (1) installing approximately 40 pipe supports with a support placed every 20 feet; (2) relocating approximately 800 feet of the existing 8-inch pipeline; (3) installing and welding
two pipe tie-in pieces; (4) excavating approximately 50 feet of trench to remove a buried section of pipe; (5) removing an existing bridge support structure that will no longer be needed once the pipeline is relocated; and (6) restoring the project area to approximate pre-project conditions
