Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the Lead Agency for the Project. The State Water Board's Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) Drinking Water Program is financing the Project. The State Water Board approved funding for the Project on March 9, 2020. The Project is to provide technical assistance to develop, fund, and implement capital improvement projects and community engagement in communities. Priority will be given to small disadvantaged communities (DACs), water systems serving small DACs, or water systems experiencing serious drinking water public health issues (funding categories A-C, as defined by the Policy for Implementing the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, adopted by the State Water Board).
