Document Description
The project proposes to drive up to two (2) pilings to support a new floating dock that is being added to the end of the existing floating dock. The new additional will allow residents to access Clear Lake during these unprecedented low water drought conditions. Tules are NOT present in the project area and will not be impacted by the proposed project. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will further require a lakebed encroachment permit from Lake County Water Resources Department and a building permit from the Building Department. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
