Riley’s Jerky is proposing various improvements within Caltrans’ right-of-way along the westbound lane of State Route 89 in Plumas County at post mile 19.4 in the community of Greenville that would facilitate access to the business. The proposed improvements include installing a new Type C road connection (a paved driveway) to State Route 89 and installing a new culvert beneath the driveway to convey stormwater runoff in a roadside ditch. The new culvert would be approximately 18 inches in diameter, 80 feet in length, and have flared end sections. The project would result in approximately ¼-acre of ground disturbance within the right-of-way.
