The trench for the new septic line will be no greater than 24” deep and the hole for the lift pump will be roughly 6’x6’ to allow for proper placement of the pump. In addition, a small trench approximately 10’ long and no greater than 18” deep will be dug to run power from the breaker box at the residence to the inground lifter pump. Equipment to be utilized for this activity includes a mini excavator and non-powered hand tools. Cement paving around building to reduce water damage: Approximately 1,000 ????2 of concrete will be added around the onsite residence and adjacent garage to reduce soil erosion around the building during rainy weather and to prevent damage to foundations. Equipment to be utilized for this activity includes a cement mixer and non-powered hand tools. Additional parking area: Roughly 2,600 ????2of ground behind the main barracks has been designated as overflow parking during fire season. The area contains heavily disturbed soils and a layer of gravel on top. Equipment to be utilized for this activity includes a skid steer, mini excavator, mechanical compactor, and nonpowered hand tools. All ground disturbing activities will be conducted on previously disturbed areas. Construction equipment will remain on site until the job is completed.
