Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project consists of the conveyance of the existing Elk Grove Regional Park to the CCSD. The project would continue to operate as a regional park and would not result in any ground disturbing activities that would result in an historical or biological impact. The project is not within the viewshed of a scenic highway nor is it on a list compiled under Section 65962.5 of the Government Code. The project consists of the continued operation of an existing facility resulting in negligible or no expansion of use beyond that previously existing and is therefore exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
