Document Description
The project is limited to the placement of approximately 0.023-acres of clean, rock, rip rap along the shoreline of Lake Almanor and the installation of access stairs. The rock will be comprised of native volcanic material between 12 and 36-inch in diameter. This Agreement does not authorize harvesting rock from the Lake Almanor lakebed. The key trench will be dug to an average depth of 3-feet, with a slope of approximately 9-feet in length. The rip rap will be planted with a combination of live stakes of willows, alders, cottonwoods, and dogwoods. Permittee shall be responsible for monitoring soil condition and provide supplemental irrigation when Lake Almanor levels are too low to sustain the planting. The access stairs will be mounted using two (2), five-foot by five-foot cast in place cement foundations. The stairs will be constructed of aluminum and span up to 20-feet long, matching the slope of the rip rap.
