Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0317-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Levy Lyew. The project is limited to nine encroachments. The nine proposed encroachments will improve conveyance at road stream crossings and remediate wet areas and ponds that were constructed without permits. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.

The proposed projects will improve conveyance at road/stream crossings and remediate wet areas and ponds altered without permits. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
