Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a pavement maintenance project in Mono County. The purpose of this project is to restore the pavement to a serviceable condition. The work includes applying an asphalt rubber chip seal to the existing asphalt surface from edge of pavement to edge of pavement(EP to EP). Oil binder and aggregate (“chips”) will be placed EP to EP, followed by a fog seal from EP to EP. Excess aggregate from the chip seal will be picked up and properly disposed. No shoulder backing will be placed. All work will be performed within the existing pavement and within the existing disturbed areas adjacent to the roadway.
