Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a pavement maintenance project in Mono County.
The purpose of this project is to dig out and replace areas of failed pavement and
place a hot mix asphalt(HMA) pavement preservation thin blanket. A 0.15-foot HMA
overlay will be placed on the southbound lanes from edge of pavement (EP) to EP,
and shoulder backing will be placed 3 feet from EP. Dig outs to repair pavement are
anticipated as part of this project. Drainage inlets will be modified to match finished
grade. All work and staging will occur within the existing operational right of way with
no new construction.
