Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), approved a request, dated October 10, 2021 which was subsequently revised on October 15, 2021 and October 17, 2021., from Veolia ES Technical Solutions LLC Azusa (Veolia or Facility) to allow the temporary storage of RCRA solid and liquid wastes in non-permitted units and hold or store incoming waste in trailers and railcars for additional up to 10-days (up to 20-days total) pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.40. On October 28, 2021, DTSC approved Veolia’s temporary authorization request to authorize the temporary storage activities for a period of 180 calendar days, which will expire on April 26, 2022.
