Document Description
This State funded Maintenance Project provides corrective measures to prevent deterioration and extend life of pavement on State Route (SR) 55. Caltrans will upgrade existing asphalt pavement with Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) and install new pavement delineation and new loop detectors along SR-55 between SR-1 and East Bay Street, and at the southbound(SB) SR-55 to northbound(NB) SR-1 and NB SR-1 to SB SR-55 off-ramps in the cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, Orange County. No new Right of Way (R/W) is required.
