Document Description
The project will install a weather station adjacent to the Bickford House in Ano Nuevo State Park to allow University of California Santa Cruz researchers and Parks natural resource staff to accurately record weather in the neighboring Ano Nuevo Coast Natural Preserve. Work will:
- Excavate to pour an approximately 3-feet by 3-feet by 8-inch deep concrete slab (with 4 to 5-inches below grade)
-Use a fence post driver to install three (3) T-posts around the perimeter of the concrete slab; and
-Erect and secure a 10-meter-tall weather station tower to the concrete base and attach a guy line from the tower to each of the three (3) T-posts.
