Document Description
The project is limited to the construction and operation of a new solar photovoltaic (PV) energy-generating facility and the decommissioning of a solar generation and energy storage facility.
The project encompasses approximately 371.72 acres, comprised of solar fields, energy storage, substations, roads, retention basins, and various auxiliary facilities. The design and construction of the buildings, solar arrays, energy storage facilities and auxiliary facilities will be consistent with Sacramento County building standards.
A variety of equipment and machinery will be used including a skid loader, forklift, grader, bulldozer, scraper, 10-ton roller, sheepsfoot roller, tractor, excavator, small crane, all-terrain vehicle, pile driver, a 5-kilowatt generator and pickup, flatbed, water, line, and boom trucks. The project includes solar array installation, grading, access road low-water crossings, and installation of a security fence.
