Document Description
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services Branch is providing funding for the Elder Abuse (XE) Program for Calendar Year 2022. the purpose of the XE Program is to enhance the safety of elder and dependent adult victims of crime by providing direct services to victims and bridging the gap between elder justice service providers and victim service providers. There is $252,531 in funding for the XE Program for the Calendar Year 2022 (January I, 2022 through December 31, 2022). The XE Program will provide a public benefit by providing the services noted above.

The activity is covered by CEQA Guidelines (California Administrative Code, Title 14, Division 6) Section 15061(b)(3) "common sense exemption" on the grounds that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA. As such, the use of Section 15061(b)(3) is applicable and appropriate.
