The Sun View property is located near the intersection of Sutter Street and Argonaut Drive in the City of Jackson. The approximately 61,000 square foot property is currently vacant and is zoned and general plan designated Residential Medium Density. The applicant, Mr. Duane Venhuizen, is requesting a rezone and General Plan Amendment to Residential High Density to accommodate more dense development. The Residential High Density zone and General Plan Designation allows for one dwelling unit per 2,000 square feet. Maximum number of residential units on this site (not accounting for setbacks and other development standards) is 30 units.
