Document Description
The City has proposed a General Plan Amendment No. 2021-03 to adopt the 2021/2029 Housing Element in accordance with California Government Code Sections 65580 through 65589, and the 2021/2029 Safety Element Update in accordance with California Government Code Section 65302(G). Further, the approval of General Plan Amendment No. 2021-03 is in compliance with requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”), in that on October 13, 2021, at a duly noticed public hearing, the City Council also adopted the Addendum to the 2013/2021 Housing Element project Environmental Impact Report (SCH# 2013051001) for the 2021/2029 Housing Element and Safety Element updates.
