Document Description
Site Approval application for a farm service headquarters providing harvesting services to vineyards. The project includes the parking and storage of 2 trucks and 20 sets of grape trailers (2 per set) on the 5-acre property for periods between harvests. At the start of harvest season, the grape trailers are removed from the property and, once harvest season is over, they are returned to be stored on the property. No structures will be utilized for the farm service. The farm service would operate concurrently with the previously approved Agricultural Truck Parking accessory use which permits the parking of 2 trucks and 4 trailers on the property. The existing agriculture storage building is not included in this application.
The property is accessed via 2 driveways off of State Route 4 and has an existing 20 foot wide, chip sealed driveway accessing the area proposed for parking and storing the trucks and trailers for the farm service. The property is improved with onsite well and septic system. Storm water is retained in an existing retention pond. This property is not under Williamson Act contract.
