Document Description
DWR Staff will remove fill material from the road that leads to Seep Five at Clifton Court Forebay to repair/replace one damaged culvert and clean out a second culvert. Once culvert one is exposed staff will place a coupling and install a new culvert. DFD will clear out existing vegetation around both culverts. Culvert one will be backfilled over with same material on both sides of the road. Staff will add riprap at each opening prevent future erosion around the culvert opening to allow for as designed drainage flows. DWR will remove accumulated debris in culvert two located west of the access road to Seep Five. Staging will be on established roadways. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. Because this activity can be implemented without any significant environmental impacts, the Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance.
