Document Description
The project is limited to improving approximately 1,050 feet of existing dirt path along the Feather River to a consistent 6-foot-wide trail consisting of an aggregate base covered in a tread material. The improved trail will follow the existing trail’s alignment from the terminus of Arlin-Rhine Memorial Drive east to the trail’s terminus at Old Ferry Road. Trail reconstruction activities will include clearing and grubbing vegetation, grading and material placement, and installing two overlook locations with benches and interpretative signs. Approximately 33 cubic yards of rock slope protection will be placed as needed for structural stability. In addition, four parking spots will be paved within an existing parking area adjacent to Old Ferry Road.
