Document Description
The Cosumnes Community Services District proposes to develop a new approximately 54,222 square-foot recreation center located on 3 acres of undeveloped land within Morse Community Park. The project is designed to provide a variety of recreation activities to support the community including individual and group fitness options, sports classes, leagues, and tournament events. The project is proposing four indoor basketball courts, with overlay courts for volleyball and pickle ball; two aerobic/dance spaces; a multi-purpose room; indoor and outdoor fitness spaces; an indoor jogging track; restrooms for individuals and families and space for administration. The project also proposes an outdoor recreation space and an event lawn. In addition, new landscaping, lighting, and additional surface parking would be included.
