Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a pavement maintenance project in Inyo County. The project work includes grinding out areas of failed pavement (2"-4" in depth), placing a thin lift (0.15') of HMA (Type A), placing shoulder backing up to 3' from the edge of pavement, and restriping the new pavement. No known environmental resources will be impacted by this project. All work will be performed within the existing pavement and shoulder backing with no new construction. No vegetation or dirt will be disturbed outside the existing pavement, shoulder backing, contractor use areas. Traffic will not be re-routed during construction.
