Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park to identify soil conditions and guide the work of the proposed accessibility improvements project. Work will use a truck-mounted drill, equipped with hollow-stem augers and/or mud rotary drilling equipment to drill up to six (6) 10 – 20-foot borings. Representative soil samples will be recorded for future analysis and borings will be back filled with excavated materials. Excess drill fluids and cuttings from the mud-rotary boring (if used) will be contained in 55-gallon drums and disposed of off-site after project completion.
