Document Description
Notice of exemption for Coastal Conservancy approval of grant funding. Groundwork San Diego-Chollas Creek’s Kids to the Coast Program will provide four school-day field trips and two week-long camps to 120 5th grade students, 30 high school/university student mentors, and about 30 family members from underserved communities of Southeastern San Diego.

Participants, including those with disabilities, will explore San Diego’s rich coastal resources by visiting various coastal locations in San Diego, including San Diego Bay Wildlife Refuge, the Living Coast Discovery Center, Tijuana River Estuarine Research Reserve and Beach, Cabrillo National Monument Tidepools, Silver Strand State Beach, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, and Imperial Beach Pier.
