Document Description
The proposed Booster Station 5513W/5514 Improvements and Reservoir 5514-2 Construction Project would construct a new, above-ground steel domestic water tank (Reservoir 5514-2) on the existing CVWD Reservoir Site 5514. To accommodate placement of Reservoir 5514-2, the existing Booster Station 5514 would be demolished and relocated to existing CVWD Site 5513 (which would then be renamed Booster Station 5513-W). To further support improvements, the existing motor control center located at Site 5513 would be replaced to accommodate both the existing booster station and new booster station 5513-W. In addition, approximately 600-feet of pipeline would be replaced in the roadway to tie the new BS 5513-W into the existing water distribution system that serves the old BS 5514 pressure zone. The proposed project would improve CVWD's domestic water infrastructure at two existing CVWD sites (Site 5513 and Site 5514) to alleviate water storage deficiencies and increase water storage capacity, reliability, and efficiency within the CVWD domestic water distribution system
