Document Description
The project is limited to the repair of erosion damage to the bridge sidewalk foundation and eastern abutment of the Harney Road Bridge over Sonoma Creek. The project includes installation of Controlled Low-Strength Material (CLSM, or light-weight concrete) in the approximately 60 square foot void beneath the eastern abutment caused by erosion. The CLSM will be tied into the existing bridge structure and existing bank protection. The project will also recontour upland areas by raising the grade 10-inches using topsoil to direct overland flow away from the abutment into an existing outfall and apply a patch to the bridge sidewalk near the eastern abutment.
