Document Description
Notice of Exemption for the Streambed Alteration Agreement for the Fort Goff Creek Middle Ditch Diversion. The project is limited to the operation and maintenance of water diversion and fish screening infrastructure on Fort Goff Creek. Water shall be diverted from Fort Goff Creek down a 40-foot(ft) conveyance ditch. A 3x2 ft drum screen shall be operated to prevent aquatic organisms from being stranded in the conveyance. The drum screen shall be installed as part of the construction agreement and remain in place. A bypass return requiring 0.5 cfs will allow aquatic organisms to return to the main channel. A hand-stacked wing dam spanning no more than 75% of the wetted channel shall be constructed as-needed to direct a portion of low flows into the in-take, following approval from CDFW. Fish passage of at least 4 feet width of wetted channel shall be maintained at all times. Ideal depth of 18 inches of surface water.
