Complete improvements and repairs at The Eagle Cottage in Columbia State Historic Park to provide greater accessibility for park visitors and to help volunteers maintain the park's authenticity for the public and expand what they offer. Upgrades include a new elevator & hoist way, HVAC system, roofing, building drain system, accessible restrooms, accessible commercial kitchen, accessible parking layout, and new ADA pathway.

Project consists of the operation, repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures or facilities involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond current levels; replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced and is included as "Modifications of existing facilities for disabled access" and "reroofing", in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4; construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; and the minor public or private alterations in the condition of land which do not involve the removal of healthy, mature scenic trees.
