Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-HUM-17718-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Allen Da Silva
The project is limited to one activity along Elk River. Work will include removal of slash, limbs and logs from past vegetation clearing that were placed in the riparian zone. This work is intended to resolve NOV #4 in the Notice of Violation issued by CDFW on February 24, 2021. This Agreement does not authorize any additional vegetation removal within the stream management area.

Reasons for Exemption
The project will permit remediation for unpermitted riparian vegetation management and disposal within the stream management area to avoid and minimize impacts to fish and wildlife. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
