Document Description
Replace a dilapidated wire fence with a wood fence at the Owl’s Nest state residence at Point Lobos Ranch to provide additional privacy and security for the resident. Work will: - Removal all existing rotted posts and dilapidated wire fencing; - Set new 4 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft. redwood posts into existing holes, or excavate new and backfill with concrete to secure; - Install 265 ft. of 1 in. x 8 in. x 6 ft. high redwood fencing; - Install two (2) 48 in. wide x 6 ft. tall access gates; and - Install a 120 in. wide by 6 ft. tall double swing gate for vehicle access

Project consists of the repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond current levels, included as “Building (non-historical) or fence repairs” in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR § 15300.4; replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced; and minor alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation that do not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
