Document Description
The proposed Project consists of a new storm drain that will convey this runoff, as well as drainage from runoff east of Highway 29, and can service future development in the area, discharging to the Napa River. The proposed Project entails construction of a new storm drain within Mills Lane, which is a City street for most of its length, from its intersection with State Highway 29 east to the Napa River. The proposed storm drain system connects to an existing 30” storm drain pipe at a new drop inlet structure. The new storm drain will consist of 45 feet of 36” pipe, 894 feet of 48” pipe, and 3,867 feet of 60” pipe. All proposed storm drain pipe will either be reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) or HDPE. The total length of the proposed storm drain is approximately 4,900 feet. The storm drain will discharge to the west bank of the Napa river approximately 600 feet east of the terminus of Mills Lane. Some road repaving will be necessary; however, no above-ground structures are proposed.
