Document Description
The proposed Project involves the development of an approximately 15.3-acre chassis support facility located on Terminal Island in the Port of Los Angeles (Port). The proposed Project site is split into three sites - an approximately 9.55 acre vacant unpaved site, an approximately .28 acre vacant paved site which includes a 2.900 square foot office building, and an approximately 3.55 acre paved site which is currently operated by Eco Flow LLC. Under the proposed Project, a tenant to be chosen through a formal Request for Proposal would operate the proposed Project site as a chassis support facility which performs chassis dispatch, stacking and storage, maintenance, other roadability services, and stop/start functionality. Other ancillary uses would include use of the aformentioned building as a supporting office. The proposed Project is generally located at 740 Terminal Way, San Pedro. The proposed Project would require minimal construction activities which includes installation of lighting, storm water drainage, and fencing. The chosen tenant would obtain a Term Permit to operate the property for up to 5 years.
