Document Description
The project is limited to routine maintenance dredging via clamshell bucket to remove accumulated sediment from Mare Island Strait (Napa River) and installing a temporary passenger loading facility, which require either four 30-inch diameter or six 24-inch diameter temporary steel pipe piles be installed in the Mare Island Strait via vibratory hammer, and subsequently removed from the Mare Island Strait after each dredging episode. The project also includes temporarily transporting the existing permanent passenger loading float out of the dredging footprint and reinstalling the float after dredging activities are completed. All project activities will be limited to the seasonal work window of August 1 through November 30.
